Not medical advice

Macrosaurus gives nutrition and body-composition guidance based on the information you enter. It is not medical, dietary or clinical advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before making significant changes to how you eat or train, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity on your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you think your account has been compromised.

Free and Premium

• The Free plan is free to use and includes core tracking, the adaptive engine, and the game.
• Premium is a paid subscription (monthly or yearly). Where a free trial is offered, we tell you before it starts and before it converts to a paid plan.
• You can cancel any time; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.

AI estimates

The AI photo, label and meal features return estimates. They can be wrong, so treat them as a helpful starting point rather than exact figures, and adjust when you know better.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to it, and no using it to break the law or infringe someone else’s rights.

Availability

We work to keep Macrosaurus running, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of major changes where we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
